CMO Flood Response Team Provided Humanitarian Aid

CMO Flood Response Team Provided Humanitarian Aid to Flood Victims in Maiduguri.

Assalamualaikum warahmatullah,

On September 21, 2024, the CMO team provided humanitarian relief to Muna Camp, Maiduguri, providing essential relief to over 1000 flood victims.

Relief Items Distributed:

•⁠ ⁠Mosquito nets
•⁠ ⁠Medicines
•⁠ ⁠Clothing

The team’s efforts aim to alleviate the suffering of those affected by the recent floods, demonstrating CMO’s commitment to humanitarian service.

The CMO Team also paid a courtesy visit to His Eminence, the Shehu of Borno Alh Garbai El Kanemi at his palace.

The Shehu thanked all members of CMO for their invaluable contributions and sacrifices, he also prayed for the success of the relief efforts and the organization.

Assalamualaikum warahmatullah dear brothers and sisters in this noble group,

I am pleased to inform you that the CMO reinforcement team from CMO KANO and CMO ABUJA arrived maiduguri safely ....

Additionally, CMO has gotten approval to open a field maternity clinic....

To this effect we have employed 10 professional nurses on contract for a whole month and backed by our team of doctors....

This maternity would work 24hrs to cater for pregnant and nursing mothers....

This has become necessary as there has been high rates of mortality since the flood especially amongst, babies, nursing mothers and expectant mothers particularly at night when most aid workers are off.

To this end, we have so far purchased medicines and other basic requirements including mosquito nets and food worth over N 2.5 million (based on available funds)

We also agreed to pay the nurses the sum of N100,000 each.(50% less than other NGOs especially none Islamic NGOs)

May Allah swt be sufficient for the families of our members from Abuja and Kano that went to maiduguri for HIS sake alone...

May Allah shine His light and put comfort in our graves, the graves of our loved ones and all the ummah of our Prophet Muhammad (saw)....

Alhamdulilah for a successful lunch of 2024 *Crystal Green Project* and *Pad A Girl Campaign* as part of CMO KADUNA 10 DAYS *Zhulhijja* Project. 80 Trees were planted and
100 Packages of Pad and Antiseptics were distributed at 3 islamiya:

• Malam Rabi'u Memorial Islamic Institute Unguwan Mu'azu, Kaduna
• Ummul Kurrah Islamic School Kurmin Mashi, Kaduna and
• Community Islamiya Abakwa.

May Almighty Allah accept it as Sadaqatul Jariya Amin.

FB-113624- CRYSTAL MUSLIM ORGANIZATION SOKOTO HAS SCREENED AND GRANTED SCHOLARSHIP TO 30 CANDIDATES TO STUDY COMPUTER AT SHEHU SHAGARI COMPUTER INSTITUTE SOKOTO.

As part of our efforts to build the capacity of our youths through acquiring the knowledge of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) we granted scholarship to 30 indigents of Sokoto State to study ICT at Shehu Shagari Computer Institute Sokoto. 28 out of the 30 beneficiaries are to undergo certificate and diploma courses at the institute while 2 are going to be assisted to settle their registration fees at Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto.

This is part of our Zakat intervention program to assist our Muslim brothers and sisters in various categories such as Empowerment, Medical and Scholarship. In the meantime, CMO will soon disburse Zakat to empower Youths, Orphans and Widows so that they can utilize it and find a means of livelihood. Equally we have shortlisted many people that are suffering from various ailments so as to assist them in finding treatment at ease.

All these gestures was meant to attract multiple Allah's reward in this holy month of Dhul Hijja.

CMO is always committed to provide succour to the Umma through it's numerous programs and activities.

Asalamu alaikum brothers and sisters in Islam. In this noble golden last 10 days of Ramadan, KANO STATE CHAPTER OF CMO had successfully completed Repair of 3 boreholes in the metropolis of kano city which will enable the dwellers of those locations the comfort of using water from those boreholes.

Alhamdulillah a blessed sister sponsored all the repairs and she paid the sum of 260,000 for the successful completion of the projects, may Allah swt accept it as an act of ibada from her and us all. Jazakumullahu khairan
