SOCIAL WELFARE

We at CMO provides a much-needed lifeline for families or individuals who are either in poverty or in danger of falling below the poverty line. We have partnered with Government and Non Governmental organization in our social welfare benefits, some of which are:

Nigerian Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA): CMO has partnered with the NDLEA in organizing a seminar to sensitize the public especially the youths, students and their parents on drug awareness campaign due to ills of drug abuse on health and in the society and also, the resources available for counseling and rehabilitation. We have successfully held our Drug Awareness Campaign in Abuja and Katsina.

Mallam Garba Foundation: CMO through it’s Directorate of Social Welfare Development in partnership with Mallam Garba Foundation has, continuously provided vocational training for internally displaced persons as a means of providing economic empowerment to those who ordinarily have no means of gaining such training or supporting themselves financially. CMO has successfully trained  100 plus number of people to date.

Federal Ministry Health: As part of it’s medical outreach program, CMO has delivered Malaria Kits and other medical treatments to Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) Camps in Maiduguri. This project has been carried out in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Health Nigeria. Mosquito nets and anti malaria drugs were distributed to individuals at the camp
